Textopolis is an application within humans' smartphones containing messaging sequences. This served as The Emoji Movie's main environment where a majority of the main characters reside. This unique program is a little planet of which is home to hundreds of emojis of different variations. Everything that is used systematically on Textopolis plays an important role within the entire city, and is subjective to everything that is happening in the movie.
Description[]
Hidden within the messaging app is Textopolis, a bustling city where all the emojis live and work, hoping to be selected by the phone's user.
When someone is texting, no one knows if the user will choose them, they go to a room where emojis are on a small space. Workers tell the user's selected emoji, then that emoji needs to prepare for the scan. After the emoji has been scanned it will be sent.
In The Emoji Movie 2: Dawn of the Internet, Alex causes to delete the app after Jailbreak gets in the trash.

- After Alex decided to delete everything in his phone, Textopolis is at the center of his screen when everything was being removed.
- It also became the last app to be deleted, since the whole ending plot has to do something with sending one message to Addie before it vanishes.
- The name 'Textopolis' is a combination of the words 'Text' and 'Metropolis' or 'Megalopolis'.
